About the Role
Responsibilities:
Managing production costs, labor efficiency, yield, and cost improvement initiatives.
Continuously identifying ways to reduce operating costs.
Developing, proposing, and implementing capital improvement plans for the plant.
Ensuring compliance with food safety standards and good manufacturing practices.
Fostering a positive and productive employee relations environment through various initiatives.
Coordinating processes and activities across all functional areas to meet or exceed customer service goals.
Setting and achieving health and safety targets.
Ensuring adherence to all quality assurance, food safety, and customer specification policies and procedures daily.
Preparing and managing the plant overhead budget and achieving direct product cost targets.
Requirements
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or a related field.
At least 10 years of experience in the food processing industry.
5-7 years of experience in a management role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong decision-making ability.
